My wow moment

My husband has been supporting me through this weight loss process he has dropped 20 pounds and is starting to run again. He loves running now! So tonight I told him to run the lake and I would walk it. I had my music strapped on me and I was off. It felt GREAT, 30 pounds lighter sure makes working out so much easier. And best of all my lower back didn't hurt! I was never able to walk before without my lower back hurting. Best of all I weighed myself after I lost a pound from taking a walk around the lake! I'm starting to dig this WLS...

PS what does OT mean when people put that infront of their messages?

OT means off topic, so if it is something that is not related to weight loss surgery people put that because some people don't want to read about anything that is not related to weight loss

Sarah - thanks for the reminder about the benefits of walking.  I need to do that.  I hate the heat and humidity and have been avoiding the outdoors like crazy!

Glad to hear that you and your hubby are healthier and fitter.  Keep up the fantastic work!

Great Job Sarah!  Yes as the pounds and inches melt away the exercise becomes easier and for some more enjoyable!  Congrats on your walk around the lake, I love to walk by the water (lake, creek, river).  Keep up the good work and who knows you could be running with your DH soon!

Sarah!  good job.

What is your secret?  I am stuck at 21.  And getting frustrated!

I saw the Dr today and he said that I may be eating too much.  That was hard to hear, but they do know best.

Congrats and keep it up!

I was stuck for awhile too. Then I went away for the weekend and did something different than my routine, moved a lot more and then the weight started coming off again. Our bodies can stall like that. When mine did I freaked out thinking this was all the weight I was going to lose! What was the Dr.s suggestions?
