capsules......can we take them?
I'm feeling like I should know the answer to this question...but I don't. Can we take vitamins in the form of capsules? You know, the type you can actually open up and sprinkle out. I think this is fine. I don't open and sprinkle it out, I just swallow it.
It was suggested to me from a friend who is super into health and wellness to add this to my diet:
A chlorophyl pill. This is due to the lack of veggies/greens in my diet and a buffered vitamin C which is just plain good.
I also have one ounce of wheatgrass at the coop each week.

Good morning, LisaJ!
The health technologist where I get my perscriptions filled has done a lot of research on vitamins, minerals, and absorption in WLS. He says that gelcaps offer the best absorption, capsules are second-best, and tablets are a waste of money as little nutrition is gotten.
I've never had trouble swallowing vitamins, minerals, or medication.
Have a good day!
