Prayers needed!
Well, folks,
I've been putting out resumes and filling out job applications all over the place---including 'LTCG' in Brooklyn Centre. That's one place that has actually acknowledged that I filled out an online app.
My belief is that God has not put me through 5 years of university to get a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, majoring in Gerontology (old folks) with certificates in Dementia Study and Palliative care--to have to go on welfare to pay my rent! I have 2 cheques coming from WCB before I am cut off.
PLEASE PLEASE pray that I get a job SOMEWHERE that I can put my education to work. My first choice, of course, would be to stay in Thunder Bay--my home for the past 32 years. My next choice would be get a job out west in Vancouver, British Columbia, where my daughter and her son and her twin brother live, My oldest son and his family will be transferred to Edmonton, Alberta, this fall. So MOST of my offspring will be out west. (Don't know where Quin plans on living. Sounds like he'll stay in Thunder Bay.) My 3rd choice would be the midwest--Wisconsin or Minnesota. THE POINT IS--WHOEVER OFFERS ME A JOB FIRST, GETS ME!
PLEASE pray that God's will be done! ((I'm even applying to A&P and Safeway for shelf-stocking jobs--but I think I'm a little over qualified. But a job would pay the rent.....))

Have you thought though that it may be part of the plan that you go through the welfare system so that you can better help those you will be working with? I don't know but who does?
I do pray that you find a good job - somewhere that is good for you and those who get you see the absolute GEM! that they were lucky enough to find :)
