Good Monday Morning!  Well, even thought it is cloudy and stormy outside I feel like a beaming ray of sunshine this morning, I don't know if it is from the constant adrenaline rush from ValleyFair yesterday or waht, but even going ont 5 1/2 hours of sleep I feel wide-eyed and bushy tailed as my mom would say!  I am starting off this week with a fresh look and a clean slate after a rather difficult Friday that lead to some major carb munching.  So, without further ado...Today I will....get in at least 100 ounces of water/CL, eat 3 meals always keeping protien first, but then adding some fruits/veggies and grains (I am going to try some cous cous tonight), healthy snacks only if needed and if chocolate craving**** just enough to satisfy the taste craving), go for a run (and hopefully no pains follow), do power sculpt dvd--no excuses I have got to get my upper body in shape, clean the kitchen, do laundry and get to bed by 11:00 pm (no ifs, ands or buts about it).  I hope you all have a wonderfully blessed day!  Love & Hugs!  Nicole

Good morning!  These last two gloomy days have been kind of strange - I'm hormonal too so I've been a bit too weepy.  Oh well, it shall pass.  Glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip to VF yesterday I know that you were really looking forward to it.

Well, here are my goals for this week:
1.  Still working on getting consisten****er drinking in.  I have a plan that works - now I just have to increase the number of days that I stick to the plan.
2.  Ditto with the vitamins and supplements (especially need to be careful today since I vomited some of my meds yesterday).
3.  Need to clean out a couple of the kitchen cabinets - now that I have so many leftovers the "tupperware" problem is growing exponentially.
4.  Contact the graduate school's career center and set up an appointment.  It's time to officially begin my job search.
5.  Start working on organizing the second floor of my house including crating all of my smaller clothes by size as it's getting close to start needing to try some of them on (although drying all of my clothes on high heat last weekend seems to have sufficiently shrunk most of them to fit again).
6.  Continue to work on my cookbook project as time allows.

Update on last week's goals:
1.  Water is still sporadic - some days I get plenty, others not enough.  I have to work to sticking to my routine.  It did not help that Wal-mart was out of the drink packet that I most enjoy.
2.  Ditto with vitamins and supplements - I'm doing quite well with my morning and evening stuff, for some reason am forgetting my lunch calcium dose.
3.  Home organization is going well - hubby and I have first and second floors fairly well done (done enough for this pass through, if time permits will start working on more cupboards and closets)
4.  Filled out necessary paperwork at school to confirm that I am eligible for graduation at the end of fall semester - once I receive that I need to officially change my name with the school (for some odd reason they're still using my maiden name) and then complete the application for diploma.
5.  Did a little work on my cookbook project, but it is the least important of all my projects so I'm not dissatisfied with the progress.

Have a great week!

Jen~I do hope that the sun will come out to maybe help cheer you up, but I do know those dang hormones can really mess things up emotionally!  I am glad to see that you will be able to graduate at the end of Fall semester...Congrats!  You are doing an excellent job with your goals, just keep pluggin away and eventually it will become a habit.  With regard to getting in your lunch calcium, do you take a pill or a chewable?  I found that when I was using the Viactive chews it was easy to remember because it was like a little dessert!  Maybe that might help.  I found that my favorite flovor is raspberry as it tastes just like laffy taffy to me, but it is a little trickier to find.  I hope you have a fantastic week and that you are feeling better soon.  BTW it was absolutely wonderful to meet you on Saturday night!  Love & hugs! I am not sure what you have to drink, but the stuff I had was grape flavored and chilled wasn't all that bad to drink.  I would suggest having something to drink like broth or whatever you are allowed before cooking so you are at least a little full!  Your day is just around the corner and soon you will be joining us on the Loser's Bench!  I sugges****ching movies in the next two days as you would not believe how many food comercials are on TV when all you can have is liquids!  Good luck with the next two days....You can do it!   ~Nicole
