What a difference a year makes...
I'm pondering if I'll hit the waterpark next week or not - can you please tell me about it? Are there lockers? I mean, I just spent a week in the Dells, I really don't NEED to do the waterslides, but - so they have tubes? Or are they mostly body slides? It would be a nice option if it's crazy hot out!
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
As for the park, yes there are lockers and chairs and stuff all around. Have a wonderful time and I expect updates!!! lol *hugs*
Here's what the web page says ( http://www.valleyfair.com/public/attractions/rides/wcw.cfm ):
Want to cool off after playing hard all day? Valleyfair's Whitewater Country Waterpark is a great way to chill out and have fun! Included in Valleyfair's general admission, the waterpark's 3.5 acres offers hours of wet fun in the sun. The waterpark is open from May 24-August 24, weather permitting. Waterpark hours are different from general park hours. For Waterpark hours, click here. (looks like 11am-7pm)
If you refuse to sacrifice your thrills, check out the five water slides at Panic Falls. Another great thrill for daredevils is the 4-person raft ride of Hurricane Falls, which towers above the waterpark at 70 feet. You'll love the walloping wet landing! (my daughter didn't like this one.. a bit TOO thrilling for her tastes she said)
Prefer to ride solo? Raging Rapids is the ride for you. It's a ride guaranteed to soak as well as thrill! Children less than 54" tall will delight in the water-soaked action at Splash Station and Giggle Run.
Since swimsuits are required, Valleyfair offers a locker room facility and a merchandise shop where guests can purchase swimsuits, towels and other beach accessories.
