Dropped the pity party, kicking my butt

I have been having a pity party because I felt like I was plateaued (yeah yeah Paul, I'm a sap, j/k ) ...

Well, I've told myself to stop whining. I went to Weigh****chers tonight and I lost 2.4lbs this week. Last week I lost 1.8lbs. Yeah, it's no 5lbs a week, but it is WEIGHT LOSS. Consistent and healthy. SO... I have stopped the pity party.

Also, I have been loathing exercise..... I don't know specifically why, but it's  just been a hard month. So I asked my Weigh****chers leader for a butt kicking. He said "Fine... next week, I want to see a list of your activity minutes. And if the list is small, I won't be easy on you." That's exactly what I needed. "Yes sir!"

I have realized I am doing well - this process is not an overnight miracle. This is a day-to-day struggle....but one day... I will come out on top and will be able to look back at everything I pushed through.

I thank Paul for a little butt kicking as well... reminding me to not whine about a little slowdown in my weight loss.

Elena~Way to go getting yourself someone to be accountable to!  Sounds like you have a great WW leader!  If you ever want someone to go for a walk (yes I still walk) let me know and we can meet at a park or lake sometime.

Elena....you are doing just great...slow and steady that is how it went for me....you will do it too.
You were wise to ask for the butt kicking.....I am happy to hear you will be resuming your exercise routine.

Hang in there...you will be at goal before you know it!

Elena, this is exactly the kind of post that benefits EVERYONE on the board.  Everyone can relate.  I've been thinking about getting back into racquetball...probably this fall.  The hardest part is finding people who enjoy playing and won't totally grease my...well, you know.

Valleyfair will be a great thing to write down as MAJOR activity....
