Lori~I missed this again this morning as I hopped right to work this morning.  It is a gorgous day outside and I wish I could haul my computer outside to work, but sadly I have a desktop computer so it is not mobile.  Today I will...drink 100 ounces of water/CL, eat 3 good meals with plenty of protien, avoid simple carbs, go car shopping (mine is dying), go to church, pick up some groceries, and possibly do the laundry.  Yesterday I....cleaned out desk and kitchen getting rid of all the snacky, simple carbs I had hidden away.

hiya

the physical hunger is relatively easy to conquor... it's the head hunger that's a ***** and will be throughout.  It's the one thing that can't cure...  I sure wish they did!!

Get out and do things you do not associate with food... it will help... or grab a pop sicle... or jello... or drink more or a different flavor of water.  Try something warm instead of cold.  The idea being to change things up an dsometimes that helps.  Chicken broth was a life saver for me and provided some not sweet flavor...

*hugs*

WoooHooo your day is almost here, keep focused on that and it will make it a little easier.  I agree with Lori there is no cure for the head hunger, and that is going to be the toughest thing to deal with both as you prep for surgery and after, because even when all I could eat was 3 T I was craving the food my family was eating or that I saw on TV.  SF popsicles are a life saver as they give you something to chew and make sure you get a good broth as I found many that were nasty tasting all on their own.  If you have a hobby now is the time to embrace it, knit, make jewelry, write, read a book, whatever it is that will keep your mind and hands busy so you aren't tempted to eat.  I know that you can make it!   Love & hugs!
