I know this is majorly off topic for this board, but I strongly believe in the power of prayer so if you're of the praying kind, please read on.
Today I have an interview for a job that's pretty close to perfect for me and my skills and it's with a very prominent company in the Twin Cities that is known for how well it treats it's employees. My interview is from 12:45 to 4:00 today and I meet with 6 different people aside from the recruiting manager.
I strongly believe that God is control of what happens today and if it's in His plans for me to get this job it will happen. But even with that faith, I know that God only helps those who help themselves and I'm trying to help myself by enrolling all of you in praying for me during this interview.
Please pray that I show up well, that my work samples are impressive enough and that they see what kind of person I am and what I have to offer them. Please pray that I have the ability to answer all of the questions confidently and succinctly. Please pray that I don't spill on myself or have any stupid mishaps. Please pray that I don't forget to tell them anything important or forget any of my samples. Please pray that I ask the type of questions to ensure that I feel this is the right fit for me and that they realize I understand the position well.
My tentative last day with my current employer is August 29th and even though I have faith that I will have a job or "something" lined up by the time I need, I would still really like to seal the deal with this job.
My fingers, toes and eyes are crossed - if you can manage the same and say a little prayer while doing it - I would deeply appreciate it!
Thank you in advance and I will let you all know how it comes out.
Take care, Tracy

Wow, a 3 hour interview! They must be pretty impressed with what they've seen/read/heard of you so far. That's positive in itself it seems to me. Well wishes, think positive. I know interviews can be intimidating, especially with so many people. I hope the job is the right one for you, and you have good news to share with us all soon!

Tracy, honey, you KNOW you are in my prayers! For everything to go such that when you leave, you FEEL a smile in your heart, because you know everything fell right into place, and the rest of it is up to God!
You so deserve this... I will be waiting to hear how it went!!!
