Wednesday Coffee Talk

Good wet Wednesday everyone!  It's raining here and I'm not complaining.  It is keeping the temps WAY down and making it very nice feeling outside.  Time to rise and shine though and rain makes ya wanna sleep.  Or it does me anyway.  LOL

Our challenge today is to not allow jealousy in our lives.  Jealousy can destroy relationships.  Jealousy can make you a bitter person.  Jealousy can hurt not only you,  but those around you.  I use to allow jealousy in my life.  Every time my friends got something, I would be so jealous till I couldn't stand it.  If my friends did something w/o me, I would be jealous.  No one was hurting but me.  I had to learn to deal with it and get over it.  The last part of jealousy is LOUSY.  Jealousy makes you feel lousy.  Let's learn to push past jealousy and then we will be ok.

So, who's up?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm all shook up this morning!    My dear sweet Lucy gave me some Elvis Coffee she got from Graceland.  The stuff sure is good too.  Wanna cup?

Wow!  You are amazing!  This is exactly what I'm dealing with!  You make it sound so simple.

Happy Wednesday.   I stayed up too late last nigh****ching the olympics.   I don't usually drink coffee but I am this morning.   Not even sure exactly what kind it is.....my hubby made it.   As long as it has some caffeine that's all I care about right now.    Hope everyone has a great day!!

I am trying to wake up...sleepy yet!!

Nothing to drink for me this morning. I have a fasting lab today at 11:00AM. These are the labs for my 1 year surgiversary coming up soon!!  I sure wish I could have gotten in earlier...11:00 is a long time from now!!

I have really been working hard on on the jealousy issue for awhile now. You are so right...the only person it really hurts is ourselves. What a waste of time!!

Once again, WAY too relevant.  Jealousy is an evil, evil emotion, and it really DOES hurt the person feeling it.

Me, I'm having some home-brewed Caribou Mocha Java.  Can you say "Ahhhh...."  ?  Hubby didn't like the last store-bought flavor I picked up, so I used a coupon and got the good stuff.  BAD IDEA - I suspect we'll be buying Caribou beans from now on!  Next thing ya know, we'll be needing our own grinder! 

Anyone here use their bullet to grind coffee beans??  I think I remember hearing you could...?

Yep - I have used my bullet to grind coffee beans, but it takes longer than my regular grinder, but it is easier to clean off than the regular grinder, so there is some give and take there....

Randall - thank you SO much for this today.  I don't comment very often but I do read your posts almost every day.  I really appreciate them, and when reading it today, I realized that I am going through some of that myself right now....hmmmmm....guess I had better reign that dragon of jealousy in and get him under control.
