UPDATE ~~  Talked to her mom this morning and ~~~~  dah dah dah dah !!!!!  (Imagine trumpets announcing the queen coming in the room --> )

She had food last night in through her pouchy and kept it down!!!!  Has had the shake this morning through tube, drinking her water and NO NAUSEA!!!!!  She also showered and is in better spirits today and mom said her voice sounded stronger too!!!!

YEAH !!!!!  So all your prayers are working !!!!  Keep them coming!!!

ORIGINAL POST:
Well -- talked to her mom last night and here's the latest.....

They think the number of protein shakes is too many and that is making her .  So they rehydrated her and sent her home with new instructions for the feeding tube and to keep pushing jus****er through the new pouch.  FOR THE DAY.  If she doesn't feel better right away today, she is suppose to go right back to the E.R.

Their theory makes sense that 2 shakes for breakfast, 2 for lunch and 1 for dinner would be too many for tiny little Linda Anne.  And the after affects of all those shakes in her old system (which hasn't been used for 2+ years) would react with ARE YOU KIDDING!!!!  And her pouch system is saying HEY DON'T FORGET ABOUT ME!!!  So the two systems are fighting each other.

So they will see how today goes.  She isn't dropping more weight right now so that is a good thing.  And she does sleep at night so that's a good thing -- she isn't up at night ill.

But emotionally, she is shot.  Very depressing, very emotional and very embarrassing.  She is very frightened of the weight loss......She's just so used to feeling good and in control, this is a huge set back for her.  And she IS NOT used to others caring for her!!!!

So please continue the prayers ---- and the cards.  I'm dropping the first batch of cards off today (won't be visiting but the hubby is home to grab the stuff for her).  To send one~~

I'll get them to her right away -- she isn't checking the boards at all -- too tired and weak.  But she does know that we are all pulling for her.  And I'm printing the board pages for her to read when she feels up to it.

Thanks gang!!!

Thank you Barb...what an angel you are to keep us informed.

I am hoping to get a card sent to her in the next day or so. I haven't felt like doing much of anything these last couple days. I am however keeping her in my prayers!

Love ya sweetie....(((HUG))) connie d

Yeay!!! I'm so happy to hear this news. I have been sooooooooooooo worried about her. I will continue to keep her in my prayers for a continued success with keeping food down and hopefully gaining some weight (not too much... but enough to make her healthy again).

Hugs,
Lori

Hi

Just took Linda back home after spending the day with us.  I and her dad feel much much better today about her condition!  she looks better, voice stronger and ate a bit with turkey wild rice soup in addition to her "can"of stuff.  thanks for the good thoughts for her.  She has a few miles to go but small steps, small steps!!

Thanks so much for the update!  I am so glad that things are going better for her.  I have been worried about her.

Tell her that I still have her on my prayer list and will keep her there until I know that she is back to her old self!
