SWAPKINS??

Believe it or not, fall is around the corner...

I was just curious about where/when Swapkins was planned for? I couldn't remember if we had anything set up.

If anything... I could rent out the party room at my apartment for it. It's a huge place and considering how much clothes we had last time around, we'll need all the room we can get.

That sounds great Elena. Would it be in Maple Grove? I am not sure when you are moving.

I can't remember who else was talking about planning one.....I know someone mentioned it quite awhile ago.

Yep, Maple Grove. It might be worth not messing someone's home up. A party room might be perfect.

What a great idea... I had told myself I was burning my clothes as I lose weight. I have always kept them FOR YEARS AND YEARS ..this time I swore they will be gone immediately!   But to have the chance to let someone else have them as they lose weight is a great thing.


 How does it work? Is it like a garage/tag sale?

We just bring it all in (I've been there once)... sort it by size and then go at it.  It's a free swapping of clothes... since we all go through it so quickly.

I think Darla's name was thrown around but only because she did such a fantastic job last fall.  And Linda Foster did a great job last spring.  And since it was in the lower burbs this past spring, the north burbs would be great for fall!!!

And if you want to host it, I'm sure Darla will let you use the size tags and we'll all show up!!!  We all usually bring a dish to pass to eat throughout the day too.

Did you say your new apt. home has a POOL???   Could be a REALLY good time!!!  I'm just sayin'....  I'd do it at the park in Hanover and have everyone over my house again for a potluck & bonfire, but at the rate my schedule is going, I wouldn't be able to do it until October...  WHICH IS STILL AN OPTION!!!
