Water Problems
Is it just me or does anyone else have problems getting all their water in? I struggle with it every day and it's starting to really worry me. Somedays I only get one bottle down, I do have milk every day but it's still not enough to make the amount of water I am supposed to have. Maybe it's too cold, maybe I'm trying to gulp and not sip? Most times I'm just plain too busy working and then I remember that I haven't taken a drink in a while and I better. I'm worried that I'll drink and then eat something without waiting the 30 minutes so I just don't drink.....I'm running a gammet of emotions on this. Any thoughts?

Robyn,
It's very hard for me to get my water too.....I only get in about 48 oz. - 60 oz. I try to drink 3 cups of hot tea in the morning. And then keep a water bottle open so I see it sitting there...
Don't know what to tell you, cause I'm not good with it either......I did at one point set a timmer for every 10 minutes, that helped for awhile but now I'm back to not getting enough...

I keep a two-quart pitcher of water in my fridge to remind me that I need to drink at least that much every day. And, I know from experience, I don't want to drink it all late at night or I'm up all night long :) And I agree about keeping a water bottle open and near me during the day so I'm again reminded - drink drink drink! Some days are easier than others, but I always feel better when I at least finish my pitcher.
My two suggestions - get yourself the water bottles like Sandy suggested - that way, you can keep track of how much you're drinking without being anal about it. I use a 32 oz. bottle, and know I need to get AT LEAST two of them in each day! Keep 'em handy, sip 'em often.
I would also suggest stocking up on a mess of different mix-in flavors. I don't care too much for plain ol' water, but Crystal Light has a bazillion flavors, Wylers has sugar free flavors, as does Wallyworld and Target. There's a ton of 'em out there, and I bet I have no less than 6 flavors handy at any given time! Makes getting tha****er in a LOT easier, IMHO. (Wallyworld DEFINITELY has the best prices, usually no more than $2/box!!)

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
I'm really fond of the Nalgene bottles you can get from Scheels and other sporting goods stores. Really durable, hold 32oz ( plus space for ice! ) and you can get sports tops or these little discs that fit into the opening to make it easier to drink out of. I've been making decaf diet iced tea in that and bringing it to school, has been making it so much easier for me to get stuff in. I make sure to always have something with me though - sometimes when I'm out I just drink what I have so I don't have to carry the empty bottle around anymore... laziness is great motivation!

Robyn...no problems with water in for me. I have always been a big water drinker. I drink alot of Crystal Light...just love that too!!
I have a minimum of 96 ounces a day....usually more. I still get this in and manage not to drink 60 minutes after each meal.
Please, please, please get your water in. It is so important for so many reasons!!
