PRAYERS, Please?

Thank you, Connie.  We should get a mutual prayer chain going--coordinate our prayers to really shake the heavens!

But doesn't this waiting SUCK!  Wish God would just tell us what He intends to do with us!

Sue...you won't lose me. I haven't tried to get to this size. I have been maintaining my weight around 122. I am just losing inches and I don't know why. I hardly exercise much anymore for that reason.
I see my surgeon for my 1 year on the 29th. I well see what he has to say. I feel really great...no physical problems. In fact I am about on the lowest dose of thyroid medication there is. My doctor said at the rate my numbers are changing I might be able to get rid of that med all together. She tests my thyroid ever 6 weeks. She is watching it very closely.

Sue~I will definitely sendup prayers that the Lord will bring you to the job He has intended for you sooner rather than later!  I hope that things in SLP work out for you then you would be really close to a lot of us!  Keep the faith God will bring you through to the wonderful job He has intended for you!

I have a Bachelors in Social Work, and my major is in Gerontology--the study of 'old folks'. (Another 5 years or so I'll be joining their ranks...)  I am a recent graduate and am waiting for the mail to deliver my certification with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers--then I can legally claim to be a REGISTERED social worker!!.  (Could have gotten it from a cereal box?!)

I've had experience in palliative care and working with people who have dementia. Also have some experience in case management. Not A LOT of experience, but SOME experience.   I have some working knowledge in administering assessment tools. I have provided strategies for behavioural problems (in seniors).

I would prefer not to have to work with kids with behaviour problems as I already raised MY kids, thank you, and would not want to raise someone elses!  Give me seniors--I love 'em!

My ideal job would be within the Minneapaolis-St Paul area. Not interested really in the far north like Bemidji or Hibbing or way south like Rochester. Duluth would be cool--ONLY 4 hours from here!
