OT: Conquered a fear - had to share!

Sorry... had to share....

I usually don't have many hang ups when it comes to fears... but I have been having a hard time with scary movies and events (anything that jumps out at you without warning ).... all thanks to the movie The Ring. It ruined it for me... that creepy girl just.... oh god.....

Anyway, Lori, Paul and I went to the State Fair and Paul 'dragged' me into the Haunted House ... I can't believe I actually made it through that thing... (mostly with my eyes closed ). So....uh.... thanks... Paul.

BTW... I love these emoticons... this one looks kind of like Darla: no? lol

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

Congrats on conquering the haunted house! I hate it when things jump out at me, but I do like the haunted house. I'm not one for rides, though...I even get scared on the Ferris wheel! I guess it's that height thing...I'm not in control of how I get down from there!

I have never seen the Ring. I am not a fan of scary movies either.

Hey congrats on the Haunted house! That is one place I just won't go.

I can handle scary movies but haunted houses are just too much. I'm proud of you for doing it!!
