Well, just got back from my vein doctor and I am trying to get my ducks in a row for surgery Sept 12th! It's a same day procedure that will take 90 and recovery time and I am home. My legs are really messed up as the main artery isn't doing it's job and the veins that are popping are bad. Doc can't do both procedures or I'd have no return flow of blood. So, she is doing what she thinks is best by removing the popping veins and "hoping" that the main vein will start working better. I am hoping that this will relieve at least 1/2 the pain my legs are in(due to knee issues).
Gotta go, appointments to make and figure out the kids schedule and arrange!

Gosh--somebody put must've put in the right request--necessary surgery and NOT cosmetic!

My prayers that all will work out as it's supposed to, and that you'll not have any pain from veins.

Well, they are submitting it to insurance today so insureance STILL has to approve it BUT my doc says with how bad my legs are insurance SHOULD approve....we'll see!

That's good news, 2 weeks to wait isn't too bad. You'll be feeling better in no time!

Sandie,

Thank God........I'm sure insurance will have no choice but to cover this surgery.........I hope the pain goes away and all will be good.

On another note, my son starts Kindergarten, If you need anything I could drive up there? Let me know.....I'm always willing to help out.
