WOW moments...
Hey everyone.........
I had my six month check up yesterday, everything is right on track!!! I have lost a total of 100 lbs since surgery and a total of 110 since my first appointment :)
Another wow moment....some of you may not think much of this but to me it is a HUGE thing...everyone knows I ride and train horses ... well I havent been able to pull my self up into the saddle without a step stool. Sunday I thought I would try and get on my horse without a step stool and I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!! I got on her and started hootin and hollering...hubby come running and asked if everything was ok...I said oh yea, I just got on Zoie without a step stool!!!!!!
I am so happy I did this...my life is so different and so much better, I only wish I would of did it sooner!!
Hope everyone is doing well......maybe we should plan another BBQ soon?!! thoughts??!! I dont mind having it at my place again...

First off, CONGRATULATIONS on the MAJOR WEIGHT LOSS! Could you even imagine this 6 months ago??? Life IS so much better! Healthier, happier, get'r done-r!!! You look so beautiful, I am so happy for you!
As for missing Saturday night, I am SO SORRY!!! Bailey's phone went on the fritz Saturday morning, so she's been "borrowing" mine as I've allowed her to, and didn't get your text in time. I hope you had a fantastic turn out, it sure was a beautiful day/evening!!!
Anyway, a BBQ would be wunnerful - I've been pondering doing another bonfire myself, maybe following Swapkins on October 18th? Gotta see how the weather looks, but Elena's place isn't too horribly far from me, so....?
And Finally, for getting up on Zoie sans stool?
I KNOW how that had to make you feel, and I'm just about tearing up thinking about it!!! I doubt I'll EVER get there - not only because I don't have my own horsie to practice on, but my left knee is STILL a pain in my arse, even with as much weight as I've lost. So unless I find me a horsie to ride that would be okay with my mounting on the off side, I'll always need assistance. So YOU GO, GIRL!!!
(Can't you just imagine what Zoie thinks? "Where'd the rest of her go???")

We even had a rodeo Sat night...LOL. One of my trainer friends got on Roanie and tried getting her to run...put the spur on her and she decided to buck him off...LOL thank god he didnt get hurt

Hey neighbor (I'm in ER) Congratulations!!!!!! Hitting the 100 mark is such a milestone. Keep up on using the tool that's been given to you.
I can appreciate the step stool thing, I haven't been on a horse for years. I always feel sorry for them if I have the chance to ride.
I'm just beginning this new life and look forward to these WOW moments.
