Talk about blessings in disguise...have been intensely moved, am really feelin the love and support you guys and honestly genuinely appreciate it.  Got more cat bites than scratches.   Poor Rusty  is in shock, having grown up in only one place, one owner, no kids around. He's the sweetest, gentle lap cat  in his own element, he's now so stressed.  Gotta find a good home for him before he settles here and has to go through the upheaval again.  Will try figuring out the pics/avatar deal with this new Vista puter then post for his new home.  Gotta go pop a vicodin, ice up,elevate  the hands and get some rest.  thanks again you guys, love and appreciate you!  Hugs, Patti

Hi Patti...Glad to hear things worked out & I'm wishing you a speedy recovery. I do have a great hint on how to control arguing/fighting cats without getting near them...a good spray bottle filled with plain old water! Works like a charm to break up any cat altercations!

Have a great day! Smileycons!

Hi, thank your for your kind suggestion.  Yep, the  'fight or flight' occurrence happened so fast my first instinct was to protect them both--duh!  I did know better!--just happened so quickly. I do have a spray bottle handy for the occasional times my Chloe gets her nose where it doesn't belong--but she LOVES water. Am fostering this other cat Rusty, and amazingly, he's pretty much back to himself.Would love to keep him, though only one cat allowed per unit in my bldg. Am working with my church to see if somebody can find a good safe home for him.  I read your profile and am so impressed with your ten-year success!  Your fortitude will certainly help you succeed as you progress along your WLS journey!  All the best to you hon! Genuine hugs, Patti
