I'm a lurker, new to the board, but this really touched me. My son is 15 and I've always been too pudgy to do much with him athletically. Thankfully, he has still flourished and is quite the athlete. He wants me to go mountain biking and hiking with him and hopefully after my WLS on 10/8/08 I will be able to!!

Jeanne, I loved your post and the excitement I could just feel while reading. Isn't it fun to be an active Mom and not a sideline Mom. I know the kids are enjoying us Mommies with lots of energy!!

You brought tears to my eyes!! I so agree with what Darla said. It is a new page in the boo****ep up the great work. I too would love to see you again. The only time I ever had the pleasure of meeting you was the week before you were having surgery. You stopped in to a Maple Grove Coffee for a short while. You were such a ray of sunshine then (and even more so now, I'm sure!)!! I hope to run into you again.
