Sleep Study Tonight
Glad you made it through - I know these really help a lot of people, but when the nurse said it was highly reconended for me since I am tired all the time, I was just like "hello...I just need to go to bed earlier."
My sleep study just made me really crabby. Fist of all they should not call it a sleep study, but a "glue a bunch of crap to your head and try to sleep" study. I could not fall assleep for forever. They didn't have a clock in there so I had no idea what time it was I finally did fall assleep, but I know it was late. Then all the stuff stuck to my head gave me a headache - I can't even tolerate head bands or sunglasses that touch the side of my head. Then, I finaly did fall assleep and the tech had to wake me twice for one sensor or another coming off. To top it off I am a side or stomach sleeper, which made it impossible to get comfortable because of the tubes in your nose. And then once again I got woke up because it was over.
I didn't need the CPAP (I could have told you that and saved us all a lot of trouble) wich is good to know. I guess I didn't feel very prepared either.
All the other hoops I have had to jump through so far have been pretty tolerable. The sleep study is the worst so far!!!
(Thanks for letting me vent)
