NOt Happy - 5 day pouch test

OK - this morning did it!  I am 3 years out.  Started at 260, lowest was 153.  Then I stayed at 155 for almost 2 years.  THEN I got lazy - reduced gym time, added carbs & sugars, pushed my pouch to the limit.  I swore I would NEVER see 170 again.  This morning that is what the scale said. Soooo I started the 5 day pouch test!  I am looking for support.  I would really like to get back to 155 - I felt great there.  Sugestions??  I was eating a lot - eating till full, waiting awhile & eating more.  I need to get back to 1 cup portions 3x a day & no more. It is a stressful time in my life - my husband & I are having some problems - but I don't need to be sabotaging myself.  Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Well, what's done is done.  Start by not looking at your failures.  Look at your successes.  Plan your means.  Make sure to get protein - and lots of it.  Be sure you are drinking water.  Taking vitamins.  Anything you do for 20 days should become a habit.

If you aren't seeing a counselor or if you don't have a support group to join (or if you don't attend any of the open coffee sessions on Saturday), you MUST do something.  Whatever works best for you.  Support and accountability will help you over this hurdle.  Its only temporary.

Perhaps an accountability partner?

Kelly has pretty much said it all....I just want you to know I am here to support you anyway I can. I wish you the best....back to the basics seems like the right thing to do.

Man what a year it's turning out to be for some of us!  I hope you are doing ok, and don't stress over the weight.  Remeber the tail chasing we did trying to lose weight while stress eating before WLS?  One day at a time and go back to the basics, I know you remember them.  I need to do it too!  Good luck!!
