OT: Anyone else get that awful cold..

Has anyone gotten the awful cold that seems to be going around?  I was miserable the last 3 days and no matter what cold medicine I took nothing seemed to help it and wasn't sure if it was because maybe I'm not absorbing the medication or if it just was a bad cold. 

Ya know, I haven't had my annual nasty cold from hell/bronchitis since surgery!  (KNOCK ON WOOD!!!)  I attribute that to the vitamins I now take - I never took any pre-op.   Are you taking your vitamins?

I started with it 4 days before my scheduled surgery- started doing Ziacam and it only lasted a few days.

I swear by ziacam- it helps shorten the cold by days- but use the q tip type ones- the pills and spray is yucky!!

Hubby and daughter's boyfriend had it really bad, daughter got it but not as bad and I fought the effects.  I hope it's done with us!

Hey Kathy, I don't catch 'crud' that goes around, although the day we got to Milwaukee, my voice disappearred, and still has not returned.  Saw GP Monday, was put on Zithromax, and still no voice!  Yep, knock on wood, even with MS I just don't catch stuff that goes around...too ironic since the immune system's busy attacking central nervous system.....anyway, hope you're feelin' better by now!  Take care of you!  Hugs, Patti
