Wednesday Coffee Talk

Well good Wednesday morning to my OH family!  I sure hope you slept as good as I did.  Once I found out that Lucy and her parents stopped for the night in Illinois, I went to sleep and slept SO GOOD!  I can't wait till she gets home next Tuesday!  Some things in MN to finalize, then home!  WOO HOO!  LOL  When you guys see her in Maple Grove this week, give her a kiss (on the cheek HA) and a hug from her DH!  I LOVE this woman more than EVER!

Our challenge for today is still in with the theme I've been using this week.  Let's NO OVER EAT.  When you feel full or the feeling of saiety, STOP eating!  Don't keep eating.  Push the plate back.  We have this habit of cleaning our plate (or we did before surgery) and it is a habit we need to break.  If it is before you and you are full, get rid of the plate.  If you can't get rid of the plate because you are eating out, do like a friend taught me, pour salt on top of it or sugar so it is ruined.  JUST STOP OVEREATING!  You'll stretch your pouch and your stoma.  My theme this week is getting back on track.  Something I need to do after 7 days of cruise food!  SHESH!

So, who's up?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm loving me some Mocha Java Coffee this morning and it sure is good.  Want to join me for coffee?

Ya'll have a wonderful Wednesday as you NOT OVEREAT!!  Love to everyone!

Good morning Randall,
This is a good one.  Hard to get over that 'clean your plate' mentality.
Have a great day!!

Good morning! Very hard to get over the cleaning your plate thinking!  It's getting easier though!
Yesterday I toasted a slice of Brownberry extra protien bread, then put on a can of tun, a slice of cheese and then put it in the microwave to melt the cheese ( this is my fav meal--lots of protein!!)
well, after eating less than half, I felt full, so I threw the rest in the trash. I felt bad doing that!  Starting today, when I cook for myself, I am going to MAKE smaller portions to begin with!!!

As far as what I'm sippin', I cant seem to make a decent cup of coffee at home, so will have to wait til I get to work for my coffee!
 Have a great day!

Good morning Randy. It is getting easier to push that plate away as time goes on. Good tip on ruining the meal!! I like it.
Water is my cup of tea this morning.

Good Morning Randall......

Love the challenge today. When I am home I still measure the amount of food I eat. When I go out I ask for a to go box and immediately remove all but what I need from my plate. That way I don't eat too much. Works for me!!

Great idea of pouring salt or sugar on it....that would work too.

When is Lucy getting together with everyone here?? I haven't heard an exact day or time yet.

I am sure you are missing your wife.....try to have a good day anyway!!

Love and hugs......connie d

Good morning Randall!  Wow, I almost made it in the a.m., too!  Welcome back from your honeymoon cruise--gotta be tough hitting land, then the Mrs had to leave you so soon--ha!  Again, wishing the two (four) of you the very best of the best!  Have an awesome day!  Gotta go clean off that little plate--hee, hee!  Oceans of luv and hugs galore to you and the 'little missus!'  Patti (sipping on lemon herbal tea, still looking for her voice to return since Sunday!)
Never let your memories be greater than your dreams.
