Tee Shirts/Crew/Sweatshirts - ANYONE can order shirts, and they will be mailed to your address--please note there is a charge for shipping. These shirts are made by Jessie Rograts who had WLS and has been a member of the Gala Committee for many years.
Pictures at the Gala - One professional photograph per ticket is included with your ticket purchase, and you also can bring your own camera. Your individual photo can be taken solo, or with your support or with a group. Just ask and the photographer will be happy to assist with your pose. Complete photo discs will be available again for $10, loaded with all the pictures taken that night. This disc is WELL worth having!
Gala Bags - There will be Gala Bags this year! We are requesting samples or items from your own business to be included such as pens, pencils or other incentives. Information about your business along with a sample or coupon would need to be to AnnMarie no later then Oct 31st (but the sooner the better!).
Silent Auction - Donate items from your business, or just something neat for the Silent Auction! So far several businesses have donated gifts, and individuals who have found interesting treasures. EX: AnnMarie is donating a Butterfly necklace and some special BBQ sauce that she helped a friend bottle. No item is too little and all will be appreciated, as we also will be also assembling baskets for the auction!
This is a CELEBRATION event is for ALL who have had, going to have, or thinking about Weight Loss Surgery. It is also for their significant others, friends, neighbors, cousins, or any and all of their support people, along with our doctors and the other wonderful bariatric staff. Although, no one should be afraid to sign up alone either, because there are so many people to meet!

This year, the Gala will be at the Medina Entertainment Center in Medina, MN, which is located on the north side of Hwy 55 about 4 miles west of 494. It will be on SATURDAY, NOV. 1, 2008, and here is the schedule for the evening:
5PM Social Time, Silent Auction, Cash Bar
7PM Dinner
8PM Program & Silent Auction Results
9PM Music, Dancing & Social Time
This event is a chance for everyone to celebrate and dress up...like the prom many of us never had a chance to go to. Dress for your comfort, we want you to just come and have fun!
