I'm so sorry for your loss, but so relieved that he didn't have to suffer a lengthy, painful end.  He is in a much better, more beautiful place than we can possibly imagine, and I know that in your heart, you are happy for him.

Just think back to being able to visit him one last time, no one can take that away from you.  The pain will lessen.  But your fond memories won't.

Okay, I'm working backwards in these posts and just got to this one after reading your earlier one about your uncle still hanging on.  Praise the Lord for allowing him to be out of the suffering! I know the next steps are going to be difficult, but please be comforted that he is with God in the most wonderful place we will ever know!

Marsha....I am so sorry I didn't know. I haven't been on the board this weekend and just now saw the post. I know you are so heartbroken. I wish I was there to hug and hold you.
