Sorry....nothing specific.
Come here, go to coffees, attend support group, ask questions, do your homework.
I would tell new post-ops to relax.  You have been given the tool, use it wisely, and let it work for you.  Follow your programs guidelines.
This is a fantastic, amazing journey.

Things I would tell a pre-op:

1.  Ask questions.  No matter how silly they sound.  We've seen it; we've experienced it.  If not online, ask questions to a support person.

2.  Gum - if you can handle it.  There is a nasty taste in your mouth that takes about a month to go away.  Ick.

3.  Don't let the numbers get to you.  Everyone stalls - it is your bodys way of catching up.  You lose inches.

4.  This is as successful as you make it.  Ask for someone to be an angel before surgery.  This person can be used as a contact person who can update friends on the boards when surgery is done.

Best of luck to all the newbies.

Hello my dear friend....love your avatar!

I would just tell newbies to follow their doctors rules.

Don't compare yourself to others. Everyones bodies are different. We all lose differents ways.

You and Linda Anne were and still are my inspiration!!

Hugs,and love.....connie d

Sandie, Love your new Avie!!  I read your latest blog post out on your profile and I have to say that I cant agree more!  My anniversary isnt until February, but it will be 19 yrs!! OMG, where has the time gone.  Just like you, I have had many ups and many downs the last 18+ yrs and I wouldnt trade it for the world.  I THANK GOD also for being so blessed to have found the love of my life at such a young age and blessed that HE has shown me a path through the trials/tribulations  that come with marriage and the Strength to NOT GIVE UP, when I probably would have had good reason to.
THANK You for reminding me of that!!
