I had a BLAST!!! What a weekend! For the past 3 years I've had night classes on my birthday so I was ready to celebrate in style this year!
Friday night my girlfriend, Julie, took me to a Christian rock concert at the Target center - got to see Jars of Clay, Third Day and Switchfoot - all great bands!!!
Then Saturday two couples I went to high school with and Julie and her friend, Julie, came to my place and pre-partied and then headed to Hairball at a bar near my house - man did we party. Unfortunately, we partied a little too much for my girlfriend, Vicky, cause we ended up having to leave at 12:30 cuz the drinking caught up with her and she got sick (I drank more than she did...light weight!!!). And the best part of it is that while she was home sick all day yesterday I was just fine (albeit a bit tired), because I don't get hangovers - I've literally had one my whole life - PTL for allowing my body to metabolize alcohol well!!!
Anyway, it was a great time - By far the best birthday in years! Thank you Jennifer for my fabulous gift - I'm wearing it today - LOVE IT!!!
