"Do unto others as you'd have done to you"~ The Golden Rule to Live by!
You are what you EAT and WHO you hang out with! Choices=Outcome~ what's YOUR choice??
I'm not perfect but I am going to die trying!!!
YAY YOU!!!
I love WLS, too - it has done away with pretty much ALL health issues I had pre-op!
It has allowed me to fit into clothes that DON'T make me look like a circus tent!
It has allowed me to move with ease, going up & down stairs NOT ONLY without using the railing, but CARRYING LOADS of stuff!
It has allowed me to feel NORMAL in places where I used to feel like I had a big 'ol spotlight shining on my huge-ness!

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
I haven't been on much, but do lurk from time to time. School has been keeping me really busy!
My acheivements so far:
1. Starting to do stairs instead of the elevator.
2. Went shopping at the GAP this weekend, and actually bought an XL shirt!
3. Wearing jeans that zip and don't have elastic.
4. No more acid reflux!!!
I'm still far from goal, but enjoying each new discovery along the way!

Since my weight loss so far I can do so much more now that I'm more happier with myelf.I walk about 3-4 times a week, bowl and for the first time in my my life my mom is giving me positive compliments about myself. That alone is worth my weight loss journey!!!!! I still have quite a bit of more weight to lose, but I'm just taking 1 day at a time. Tracy

Well, I'm only 6 days post-op so not much to "toot" about here...I guess the fact that I didn't chicken out and actually went through with the surgery is a big deal for me though. I also lost 19 lbs. before surgery, so I'm proud of that too. Hopefully I will stay on this losing slope from now on! Thanks for starting this thread. It's a good one.
