hmmmm......um, Darla, ya opened a can of worms with me!  My brain is non stop full of thoughts!

Don't know if I should share this or not but it is how I feel.  I am still surprised at the elation of reaching goal but was totally unprepared for the let down once it happened.  The fixation I had with reaching goal and the focus to do that and suddenly it was there and I had reached the goal and what did that mean.  In the past it was a pass to go back to old eating habits.  Now I needed to learn to sustain this loss and try to put a plan together to remain at this weight.  Don't get me wrong......I am elated to be at goal but was TOTALLY unprepared for the feelings when I finally reached goal.

AHHHHH, YES!  I sooooo know what ya mean!  Maintaining is a whole new ball game and harder!  Hang in there sweetie, your feelings are normal and it takes a bit to adjust but oooooo so nice!

The trees are colorful and the leaves are falling, but that means the cold weather isn't far behind!  (I just couldn't bring myself to mention that 4-letter word!) 

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken. 



I don't have ANY rings that fit me.  All the ones I had before surgery don't fit.  Well, most fit on my thumb and won't fall off, but they bug me when they slide around all the time!  I bought one before surgery that I knew didn't fit 'cause I liked it and wore it on a chain.  Even that's too big for me now, too!  

On the bus ride home today as we were going through the Southdale parking lot, I'm thinking "Why do those cars turn in front of the bus?"  "Stop...see bus...go anyway???"  Sheesh!

Right now, I hate computers, internet connections, and Open Enrollment time...it really SUCKS!

Ok - about the rings...I have to get mine resized as well. Actually should have done it earlier - I have already lost one - an antique emerald ring that I got from my great-aunt...I am SO bummed!

We should have a ring re-sizing party - all go to the jeweler together and get it done.  Mine still kind of fit though - I don't wear them because I'm afraid they will fall off, but I'm still not at a point where I want to get them resized.

My thoughts:  I love afghans, I love cuddling with my kitties, I love my pillow, and I love to waste time.  I love that I can go to a store in a shopping center and buy clothes and that those clothes aren't in the biggest size that the store has available.  I love that I can say I've lost 100 lbs.  I love that I can now watch other people eat and be shocked at how much food they can shovel in knowing that it is no longer me that's doing the shoveling.

I'm not totally sure yet, but I think I like how my life is turning out. 

Yippee I'm outta here for a long weekend with a friend. Heading to Hershey PA!!
