Happy Friday Friends.....
What a glorious day it is going to be...!!! TGIF!!
It was an ok week being it was my first full one back.. We hired a new salesman while I was out so whether this will make me busier or not we will see. Will be heading back to work at the big TJ's starting next Wed.. Woooo Hoooo.... Extra dough is good..
Recovery from my little surgery for the most part has being swell.. I questioned something that didnt seem right with the urologist and they have me going in today to check it out. Praying whatever it is, is a quick fix/correction..whatever and then we will be good to go.. I would prefer NO MORE surgical procedures...
WE GOT A NEW PUPPY....! Or should I say Jen got a new puppy... Still on the fence with this, but will chalk it up to that we rescued him from a questionable situation. BART so far is NOT happy but it will take some time.. ARNIE LOVES BART and jumps all over him so I would hope Barts playful side will come out at some point. As soon as I figure it out I will put a pic on my profile. Otherwise Jen has posted many pics on facebook.
Whats on store for your fabulous weekend...?! Going to veg tonight and get the boys to play together... So far no accidents in the house... I think.. I guess I dont know of anything after 9pm last night.. LOL.. Let the adventure begin..!! Randy has a crew coming over tomorrow to put in our new deck door that has been sitting in our basement for a year...LOL... I had surely thought I would come out for the Potluck/bonfire at Darlas but with Randy having a bunch of guys over that will need to be feed for doing free work and with Jen going out to Saturday evening, I will be on ARNIE duty..

My prayers that the tweaking of your 'something that didn't seem right' does not mean surgery. You've been through enough!
I'm having a quick coffee before I head to work for my 7--noon shift at the Great Canadian SuperStore--and that's its real name! Then I donate a litre of plasma while doing a quick refresher with 'Social Work with the Elderly' text, come home, shower and change, and head off to my job interview at the Alzheimer Society. I'm feeling strangely peaceful about it--don't know if that's a good sign of not...
Tomorrow I work from noon to 6PM, then I'm off untilTuesday night for the 11PM to 3Am shift. Lousy makeshift hours, but they're helping pay the rent.
Good luck on the new addition! Gee--you're a new grandma-of-sorts! If anyone calls you a ***** you can say your got it from your daughter!
OT--How did Randy's job interview go? Hopefully well and that he's the new employee!

I wish you all the best on your interview!! Randy didnt get any response on his interview.. Which seems some what odd that he didnt even get a thanks no thank letter.. Currently he has taken up a temporary work situation at my work.. Atleast he is doing something and the pay (not great) is more than the unemployment checks, not by much though..

I think courtesy has gone by the wayside in lots of areas. I have applied for a multitude of jobs and only got 2 'thanks for applying BUT... '
Hope he's not discouraged. Just gotta keep sending in those resumes...
The job interview went well. There are 6 people they are interviewing, and hope to inform us by mid-next week who the lucky person is. May the best qualified get the job...

I've been waiting to see you post on-line, I haven't seen you much. But I know that you normally post on Fridays. Anyway, I just want to let you know that I went the new support group in Woodbury last week at the Allina Medical Center off Radio Drive and Valley Creek. The group was really good, we talked about a ton of stuff. I think their we're only 10 people or so. And only one pre op patient. A couple people that are 1+ years and a few of us that are 4+ years out, and struggling with the same problems. The group meets on the 2nd Thursday of the Month from
6-7:30. Not sure if your still looking for a group to meet with or not, but it would be great to see you. The meeting room is on 2nd floor right above the pharmacy.

Happy TGIF hard-working gal. It's my last weekend to work til further notice. Am having double thigh lift surgery Mon. a.m. With extenuating cir****tances (MS) the surgeon said I'd be hospitalized for "a while". Prior to eventual discharge, an assessment via surgeon and hospital social services, will set up my being home-bound with home nurse and hopefully PCA to help with household catch-up, kitty clean-up. errands, etc. Finally got rid of the fostered cat, and completely broke all off ties with ex bf--only to realize my entire world was around him, now alone having distanced from friends and family. Thoughts and prayers much appreciated. Don't have anyone to post updates, so will do so when able to sit at a computer. Hope all are healthy, well, and ready to enjoy a fab Swapkins--I donated a TON of size ten petites and medium tops. Hope I won't miss the pants, as thighs may be swollen four to six months.....no prob tho, got bigger stuff goin' on. Best to all, Patti

This week has been busy and hectic...we started Open Enrollment at work this week, and being in HR, that means more work for me. I had to put in 3 extra hours on Tuesday evening from home. Took the computer home only to find out that something was wrong with my internet connection, so had to go to a friend's house to work...longest time my friend and I have ever been in the same room and only said about 5 things to each other....really weird!
Anyway - then had to be to work between 5:30 & 6:00 on Wed. am, so left work early on Wed. since I already had my 40 hours in for the week...
I went to bed early last night as I was REALLY tired. Up late Tues/up early Wed really wore me out!
Anyway....this weekend should be fun. I'm getting another roommate/renter and he is moving in this weekend, so will be helping him with that stuff...lots of exercise going to be happening...should be a good thing.
