WOO HOO for Fridays!  Woo hoo for wives that get up and want to fix breakfast!  Lucy is fixing breakfast as I make coffee and do the talk.  I love this woman so much and I thank God for our lives together.  She treats me like a king, I treat her like a queen (cuz she is) HAHA!

Do you have big plans for the weekend?  I hope MANY of you are planning to join us next Saturday for the Birmingham Dinner at PF Changs.  That's the 25 at 5 p.m. on the Summit off 280!  BE THERE!  HEHEHEHE

Our challenge for today is to do something special for someone you love.  This week has been about songs and about love, so today, instead of only telling them, show them.  There are MANY MANY ways we can show love.  Do something unique today and show some love.  Wanna join me in this challenge?

So, who's up?  What cha sipping on?  Lucy and I are enjoying some wonderful Mayan Mocha Coffee!  The stuff is awesome!  Only thing missing is YOU!  Lucy and I would LOVE to have you sitting here sipping a cup a joe with us!  We mean that too.

Y'all have a FABULOUS (Lucy's words) Friday and know that we love YOU!

Randy and Lucy,
Great challenge today....I am going to show my hubby and his momma that I love them today. Although I do already, but its nice to be reminded to do something extra! Today we are moving her to a nursing home and my hubby is needing some support so I am going to stay with him while this process is happening. This past week has been so hard on him but he has remained strong but I can tell inside he is falling apart.....
I am just sipping on so regular Folgers Coffee, and it i****ting the spot on this chilly Minnesota Morning!

*HIJACK* Carol, I have been thinking of you and Sam this week. I really miss you and he is such a hoot, I am so glad I was able to meet both of you! Hang in there, I know it is rough right now, and the nursing home decision is hard on top of all else that is going on, but there are lots of people sending you loving vibes to you and your family.

Randy and Lucy,

I only wish I could be down there in 'Bama where I am sure it is much warmer than up here!  Who knew that loosing 115 pounds we cause me to re-think the climate I live in.   I am going to show my sister and nephews some extra love tonight as they are coming up to stay with me and then tomorrow we are going to an apple orchard and to see "Veggie Tales Live".  It is sure to be a fun-fille weekend, but I may just pick up a little something extra for us (like my sister's favorite wine) for tonight.

I miss you both and hopefully will be able to come down for a visit during the cold winter months when I am sure I will need a break from all of the snow and freezing weather!

Love & hugs!
Nicole

I love to show love!  Only sometimes, it's "tough love" - like when I MAKE my kids pitch in around the house, 'cuz they want friends over when I have friends over...  potluck and bonfire tomorrow means my house has been getting a good going-over, and I believe I'm helping build their character by making them HELP!

Otherwise, I'll be showin' the love all weekend, enjoying having a house full of friends, good food, laughs - I wish you & Mrs. Culpepper could join us!!!

Wonderful words, as always!  It makes me think of this commercial I have been hearing on KTIS (one of the Christian radio stations in the TC).  It starts out with a woman talking "He got me tickets to the Gutherie, and we walked hand in hand in the park..." then it goes on and talks about showing love, not just saying it - I don't even know what they are advertising for, but I love the first part of the commercial...it really shows how that man is showing his love for her.

Why is it so difficult for humans to SHOW love...so many of us can say it - more in an off-hand way, however - than can show it in a truely meaningful way....great challenge...one for us to remember EVERY day, not just today.

Thanks!
