OOOO! I'm so ticked off...
at Quin! The cat is HIS responsibility! He is supposed to de-lump the cat box daily but more likely it's every few days. Last paycheque I forgot to buy more cat litter, so Q was to be fastidious in cat box care. (No $ to buy cat litter.) A little while ago, while I'm sitting here at the computer, the cat crawls into the blue recycle newspaper bag---and pees!
PEEE-YOO! Guess who's in the dog house tonight?? Or maybe that should be--cat bathroom??

Sue, I know it's maddening, but I did have to laugh. I had a cat that would get mad if the box wasn't cleaned every day and he'd do his "duty" on my bed. eeeeeeuuuuuuuuuu Darn cat sure had me trained!!!
Now with the box in my room, I clean it every day, because it's amazing, I can't smell many things, but I sure can smell that!!!
Hang in there!!

2014 update...regained but haven't lost faith.
Oh man! On your bed!! EEEEUUUWW!!
We use 'cat crystals'--silicone crystals that dies out the poop and pretty well deodorizes the pee. My landlady didn't even know we had a cat--that's how smell-free it is.
However, since Quin was been negligent in scooping, the cat obviously got P-O'd enough to do something about a lumpy cat box! And the cat box is in the 'family room' attached to his bedroom. Maybe Q's room smells bad enough that the cat did not want to go in there?!
Yup--cats sure are picky about their toilet facilities!

Just to help you feel better, Sue -
With the potluck and bonfire coming up tomorrow, I've been cleaning house these past few days I've had off. Wanna take a stab at what I found behind my ginormous ROLLTOP COMPUTER DESK??
Yeah. I have NOOOO idea how long it had been there, I frankly don't look behind the desk terribly often. Sucker was petrified. Which is preferable to fresh, when cleaning, I might add.

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
Was it kitty or dog poop? Not that it makes any difference. It's all yucky! Thank goodness it was petrified, eh?
And isn't it funny how house animals will either hide their 'giftings' or put it out there for punishment? I'm just glad that Q's cat had the good sense to pee in a bag of newspapers. I should have suspected something was up when she would crawl in the blue bag and just look a the world....
Thought she was admiring life from a different perspective! Didn't think she scoping out a new potty!
Q learned a lesson, tho--When MOM says scoop out the cat litter, he better do it--or she (the cat, not Mom!) might dump on his bed!
Hope you guys have loverly weather for the bonfire! Sooo wish I could join you, but I'm working from noon--6PM today. Maybe next time...
((HUGS)) to you and all who join you!
