Swapkins - Photos Inside
Elena, thank you for hosting the fall Swapkins event. What a great facility!
I will be honest. I was somewhat hesitant to go. I've passed up two previous Swapkins. Why? Simple. I'm pre-op and felt that because I had no clothes to yet donate, I was not worthy to be there. But based on all the encouragement that Elena and others gave for pre-ops to be there, I went to this event understanding that one day I will be able to give back.
Well let me tell you - I am glad I went! I came home with a laundry basket overflowing!!! Thank you to all the wonderful people that brought in clothes - I was just in awe of all the wonderful finds. This is truly a don't miss opportunity folks. It is a wonderful way (not to mention INEXPENSIVE since it's all free) to build or expand your wardrobe. The generosity of everyone who brings in their clothing to this event is just amazing. I saw many items I would have thought people would have brought to a consignment store, but instead, they gave back to the WLS community by bringing it in to Swapkins.
A wonderful event! I hope more of you will come to the Spring event.

It was nice meeting all of you yesterday. I am laughing at the pictures..the one where I am behind Elena. I look like a crabby ole biatch 
Amy, I was so glad you joined in! And GLAD you found some good stuff to take home!!! Just be sure to hang on to it all, 'cuz before you know it, you'll be paying it backwards and forwards and WAITING for the next Swapkins!!
