I got....
a call and the people from Community Care in Central WI (CCCW) and I have an appointment for a job interview Wednesday via the phone at 10AM (central time zone) or 11AM here (Eastern time zone)!!!
I don't know which job I'd prefer--the Alzheimers Society here in Thunder Bay, or moving back to my OLD stomping grounds in WI.
BUT PLEASE GOD--one or the other!
Just had to share my excitement!!

"Do unto others as you'd have done to you"~ The Golden Rule to Live by!
You are what you EAT and WHO you hang out with! Choices=Outcome~ what's YOUR choice??
I'm not perfect but I am going to die trying!!!
Thanks, Darla!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these folks feel the same way!
IF they both wanted me, (oh miracle of miracles!) I think the clincher would be the benefit package. The idea of being without medical or drug benefits scares the bejesus out of me. Say what you will about Canada, SOCIALIZED MEDICINE is a dang good safety net! (IE: Quin had open heart surgery when he was 4 months old, and we never saw a bill for any of his care. Nor did we see any bills for my husband's cancer treatments, thanks to the Ontario Health Insurance Plan. (OHIP)
So that's a major concern for me, but because it's state initiative, they should offer a pretty good benies package, I would think?
