Surgery tomorrow! I'm in a panic!
The Unity program is really top notch, not just for their tremendous surgeons, but because they prepare you physically and mentally for post-op life. Despite those comforting facts, I, too, hit the panic button shortly before surgery. Ultimately, some OH friends calmed me down and I decided to simply accept what was to become of me as a result of RNY surgery, whether it was good, bad, or ugly. The first 4 months have been pretty much all good relative to my fears beforehand. I would be willing to bet you will have a similar experience.
Good luck,

Theresa,
I was very nervous the day of the surgery. The ride to the hospital was surreal. But, when I walked through the doors, I was ready to go. We all feel nervous. I don't think that it would ne normal NOT to! Best of luck and I can't wait to hear how you are doing. You move to the Loser's Bench tomorrow! Yeah!

As the experts here all agree, normal to be nervous. I'm sure I'll be posting panic posts long before the night before surgery. YOu'll do great. Can't wait to hear about your progress. Wishing you well tomorrow.
