My latest chapter.....
On to the next! I have had leg issues since May. Go the vericous veins taken care of in Sept. Still have knee issues. Went to Ortho and had option of what to do. Decided to MRI my knees to find out exactly what's up. MRI shows a little fluid like the X-Ray did. Other then fluid nothing. Ortho Doc says my extra skin HAS got to go. SOOOOO, that makes 3 Doctors and 1 PS in agreement(PCP, Vericous doc and ortho). I still am having rashes and now the pain. It is now time to compile everything together again and resubmit under knee issues along with rashes. Here I go again. This time tho I am smarter and have learned. IF the insurance appeals the FIRST submittal I am getting my 1st choice lawyer (who said to resubmit with new issues and if they deny come get him).
Now, I have a PCP visit and get the referal to PS again. He will then estimate the poundage in skin. And then the paperwork will be sent in.

Sandie, I am having a very positive feeling about this!
You've served your time well and you've tried other methods. Now that your docs are all in agreement and you're still exhibiting and they are recommending PS for health reasons, do have a lawyer file your appeal if needed. You've got a great case!
