The tooth of mine that needs a root canal flared up in pain. After 2 days I called and got in last night to "fix" the pain. It was the weirdest experience that I have EVER had with luaghing gas! WOW!! I could hear all and couldn't respond, I could move my hands and legs tho. Anyway, the tooth that caused do much pain that I couldn't eat I guess had an infection and they drained it and put a temp on until Jan(when my insurance gets back the allowance for the year). They also put a antibiotic in the tooth. GRRRRR with tooth pain! I was in the chair at 4:40pm and didn't get out of the chair until 6p!!! I went home and went to bed. Woke up from work and WOW it's taking long long time to wake! Good thing I got ALL the coffee I want

Thanks Hon!! It's starting to feel better thanks to some "happy" meds but the meds are making me.....better then pain tho!

Thank you Dear! I am calling them today as it still throbs and hurts if I don't take the meds RIGHT ON TIME!!! 2 days after the "fix" is enough!

I had a tooth canal done this past fall, and it was not as bad as I anticipated. My dentist just froze the heck outta my left jaw, and drilled and fiddled around--very time consuming. (I didn't know that root canals were a 3-step process.) Anyway--I needed a course of antibiotics, and trying to talk was an experience! It felt like my face was sliding off my skull--and I could not formulate any words! Ended up writing notes as a means of communicating with the pharmacist. But since the dental work, I have had not any problems with that tooth.
