First Fill today -- NOT
I went in for my first band fill today. I was pretty excited. Well it didn't happen. 
The dr had a hard time finding the center of the port. He kept hitting the edges. He didn't want to take a chance of poking the tube so I had to schedule an ex-ray appointment so he can be sure where the center is. That appointment is 4 weeks out.
So I guess I just keep on doing what I've been doing until than. Hopefully they will get a cancellation and I'll get in sooner.

Ohhh Lorri...that must have been a bummer for you! I am sure you were so excited to get your first fill. I hope you end up getting an appointment sooner...keep up the good work you have been doing! I myself have been at kind of a stall for a week or so..I get frustrated but then try to remember, in time...I will get to that dang goal.
