Kids are soooo funny!!! What a "kodaic moment"!

*I have a picture of my eldest when she was two days old that "appears" to be giving her grandma(my MIL)the bird!!.....Isn't there something about kids having a great perception on people...sorry, I know I shouldn't be that way but if you knew the *BLEEP* I have been thru with DH's folks you'd understand!

ENJOY them while they are little and don't understand what that means!!!!

Ya know, I always dreamed of having a MIL that was a good friend. ALL my past BF's and my 2 ex-fiances's mom's LOVED me and was AWESOME to be around them and we did sooooo much!! I NEVER thought I would get the MIL sterotype!!! Ya know that movie with J-Lo (I think Monster in Law)? Well, that MIL is an angel compared to mine!(NO LIE!!!) OH WELL! HER LOSS!

I feel so sad for you that your MIL is like that. She does not know what she's missing--truly! Is it because you're not the same colour she is? Or is she snooty because HER daughters have 'careers' like nursing? (I think you mentioned that once.)

I'm blessed in that my MIL is like the mother I never had--even when I HAD a mother. I'm gonna miss her when she's gone--she's in end-stage renal failure and the docs gave her a year to live back last spring when she went into kidney failure. But she'll have a heckuva reunion with my hubby when she dies!! I am cherishing my time with her.

I'd be glad to be you mum-in-law! Heck--if I can be Dana's 'mom', I can be your MIL!
