UGH! The Pain!!!!

Ok, so yesterday I understood my tooth would be sore form them working on it. I had to take pain meds (2 of them!!!) EVERY 4 hours! I had to get up in the middle of the night to take them as the pain woke me!!!!! So I call the Dentist Office today and of course had to have the nurse call the on call Doc and wait. He calls, gets the low down and come to find out I had an infection and should have been on antibiotics! OH THE PAIN!! Waiting for Anti's to kick in a fight and using pain meds until!

NOW, the rest of the weekend should be good!

Oh, the HORROR!!! I hope you have paid meds for a few days. How long before the antibiotics are supposed to make it feel better?

I KNOW!!! Thanks for the sympathy! The antibiotics he said SHOULD make me feel better in 24 hours~ if not I am to call. THANKFULLY, my dentist was generous in the pain med department as the on call dentist said I wouldn't need anymore after the 24 hours if they work.
Tooth pain SUCKS!!! Well, I am getting tired from the meds, so it's off to !!!

Gee, Sandie, I'm sorry that you're still hurtin' from dental problems. Didn't the dentist take care of the infection? I thought you'd said that the dentist put antibiotics in the tooth wound?

Well, here's hoping and praying that the antibiotics kick in real quick and that you're feeling good real soon.

Hey Sweetie! Well, my dentist opened it up and fixed the problem......I was loopy from the laughing gas and I *believe* he told me that he drain it, cleaned it and put something in there but um, well being I am not positive! So, the on call doc called in the antibiotics and said I should feel better in 24hours or less but if not to call(UM< YOU BET I WILL!!! Enough is enough!). Since my pharamacy took forever to fill it (bummer, had to shop with no $$ for 1 hour) I was unable to get the 4 doses in today but manage to get 2 in and so that should help. Still having MUCH pain and took 2 more pain meds and am getting tired so off to I go!
