Three Questions from a Pre-Op
Hey there since we are from the same clinic I thought I would chime in.
1) Tylenol is preferred. When I had a headache so bad I thought I would die they told me that I can take advil once in a while if needed. I would suggest to try tylenol first. I was a big advil girl before surgery but Tylenol has seemed to have done the trick for most thing. Not a migraine that is for sure!
2) I did not get my period after sugery. I think it took a month for me. Although I had never been regular until I had the surgery.
3) I did not have anything that I know of done with my belly button I did have an incision about 2-3 inches from my belly button.
Good questions!! Hope you are doing well!

Hi
1. Tylenol is the pain reliever of choice, but was also told that advil on occassion is okay. Some women use Advil for cramps.
2. Unfortunately for me, I started my period the day after surgery. I had been on the depo shot to help regulate my periods so thought I would be okay. I actually got my period for 3 MONTHS solid....yucky yucky
3. I had my surgery open so no help for you on the 3rd question.
Good luck.
Peggy
