Yup--sure is!
Now that WI is becoming more of a possibility--in my mind, anyway--my son is having to start thinking about where he'll live if I bail Thunder Bay.

I do believe that God could totally surprise me with a job I never would've thought about.

((HUGS)) to you!

Thanks so much for wonderful support, my dear friend.
I have no one BUT God to cling to!

BTW--never saw that movie. Where would I find a copy?

So hoping that one day soon I can be like Tracy and shout that 'I got it.'
And yup--patience is a virtue--but I want  it NOW!

It's been out for a year or so so you should be able to rent it for $.99(convert that to Canadian).  So check out the local video rental places and if they don't have it ask if you can get it to rent.

When ya finally do get to see it, grab a box of Kleenex...sit back, enjoy a few laughs, some "O, man I can relate" and a tear or two.....it is also very inspirational and uplifting!!

LOVES Ya Bunches......Prayers for ya!

Shoot, what a bummer!  Are you going to need experience leading groups for the jobs your applying for in general, or was this new and strange criteria?   If you attend church, can you start up a small group to lead? My parents church has lots of little small groups for various support, each group needs a leader.  You'de be great!  Remind me what the deal with the job in WI is? Waiting for a call back?

I agree--it is indeed a bummer!

Being able to lead groups is just part of the expectation of being a social worker.  I unfortunately do not attend a church, so that great suggestion is not do-able for me.

The jobs in WI are for 'social work service coordinator' and a 'long term care screen specialist'.  Both I have applied for, but I had a phone interview for the social work service coordinator position.  I had given up hope for that one--the last posting date was in early Sept. and I had heard nothing in all that time, so I assumed it had been filled.

They said they would let me know in two weeks--and the interview was last Monday.  My son had been eavesdropping on the stairs, and he said I sounded good.  I hope the interviewers thought so too!  I could have the choice of either job, if I fit their needs criteria.  So Im just hopin'....
