OT: Relationships?

Ok, so here's my girly question for the year...

I've been in a long-distance relationship (yep, another Minnesotan gal with an Alabama man!) for the last 4 years. Great guy, treats me awesome, get along really well, more supportive of the surgery than I could have possibly imagined (Though he hasn't seen me since.. lol).

And for some reason, since surgery I think I've caught the "Grass-could-be-greener" disease. UGH!

I'm applying to study abroad in Mexico next semester, really really want to travel if I can't make that program. I'm getting attention from guys, which is totally new for me. I guess I'm kinda feeling like I want to do the "single" thing, but I don't want to end it. I'm not sure if that's because of feelings, or the fact that I would lose my best friend, or because staying in the relationship would be... convenient.

Things aren't bad, they're just.... CONFUSING!!!!

Thoughts? Is anyone else having/had this problem? Am I just an awful person? (JK on the last one)

You aren't a bad person at all!  I believe to some degree we've all gone thru this!  It also doesn't help you haven't seen him in a year! 

I can't tell you what to do, just know that most of us have been there.

Just my thoughts.....Take them or leave them.....Since you are having these feelings, I would play the field.....It's better now than later, ya know?

I would let your Alabama guy know how your feeling.....That you still have feelings for him but that you need to explore the feelings your having on others........Hope that makes sense.....Good luck.....

I am in agreement with the other two posts.

Talk with your Alabama man....explain how you feel....go on and test the waters elsewhere for awhile. Better to do it now then to wait and always wonder what might have been.
