Wednesday Coffee Talk
BRRRR! Lucy is right! It is COLD here in LA (lower Alabama) this a.m.! It is 30* here in Luverne. That's just too cold. HAHA! Thank God for heat and a wife with a warm heart. I slept like a rock last night. Woke up one time and checked on Skeeter, our border collie, then right back to bed. How'd you sleep?
Our challenge for today is to hang in there. Sometimes we get tired, frustrated, out done, and just plain old give out waiting for something. Whether it be a phone call, a job, our finances, our children not doing right, our spouses getting on our nerves, or whatever. I want to encourage you today to just hang in there like a hair in a biscuit. Grab hold and don't let go. Don't give in and quit, don't run, or do the unthinkable. If you'll be patient, good things will come your way. You will be glad you hung in there when it is all over and done with. We shouldn't pray for patience but we SHOULD let it come natural. Patience is a virtue, remember? So, be patient today and wait on the good things to happen. They will, I promise!
So, who's up this morning? What cha sipping on? Me? HA! I'm loving me some Loco Coco today. It is a blend of hazelnut, coconut, and K'lua. Sure is good. It is some we bought while on the honeymoon cruise.
Ya'll have a wonderful and blessed, "hanging" Wednesday!

I'm not perfect but I am going to die trying!!!
Good mornin', Alabama!
Here in Canada, on the shores of the great Lake Superior, it's STILL -4*C--(or below freezing.) Gee, I wish I did not have to leave the house!
Don't know if you read various posts on the MN site, but I'm applying to different places for a social work job with the elderly. That's what I spent the last 4 years studying for. All I've had so far are 'no thank ya's' to no reply at all. BUT--I'm hanging on and hangin' in. I have no one BUT God to trust. He did not work out all the freaky cir****tances just to get me to university only to have me work at a low-paying job. There's one coming my way--I gotta believe that!! Unless He wants me to go back to school for my Masters--but I'm sooo sick so school I REALLY hope that's not the case!
A few prayers for me to be able to persevere is really appreciated. My faith does wobble sometimes...
THANKS
