I thought I'd forward this one (just ignore the WW-specific comments about points and stuff):

Halloween night isn't the only problem -- the crap at work the next day (or the next week) is the issue too.  Everyone brings in their candy from home so they don't have it there!!!!

Good luck everyone!!!  But remember that this is only the beginning -- next is Thanksgiving .... then Christmas cookies, etc. And you can have a couple  -- just don't eat the entire bag like before!!!  Might not lose this week, but just get back on track and march forward......

Consider donating your candy to a nursing home, elderly apartment complex office area, or a woman's shelter.  They love snacks and don't always get them ...... Or I'll bet you can find a web page where you can send to the troops in Iraq or Afghanistan.  Just box it up when the trick or treaters are gone and ship it off somewhere in the morning.  Out of sight, out of mind.

Happy Halloween!!!!

That's not a  bad idea! Never thought about donating it, but you're right... I bet there are places that would take them.

Jenn, you are STRONGER than the fun size candy bars!  Join me in my effort to avoid them, by imagining them to be fun size TURDS!

Thus far I have successfully avoided the Halloween candy, luckily there haven't been any bowls of it in my office and I am hoping tomorrow is the same, it also helps that I live alone so I am the only one responsible for what comes into my house.  Although I must admit there have been amny times when grocery shopping that for some torturous reason I stop and just look at the aisles of candy, then I think to myself do I really want to go back down that path....nope.  Here's to hoping I do not have to face it next weekend at my parents!

We're having a "treat day" at the office tomorrow.  We were talking about how just bringing sweets is sort of rediculous. I'm bringing Honey Crisps :-)  Bet they're gone before any of the other stuff.
