Question about burping ( kinda )

Okay...I have had this going on for quite some time ( month maybe)  It reminds me of when I USED to drink pop--when I'd kind of get a burp stuck in my throat. I dont actually burp--it just kind of does its thing in my throat --I know, sounds kind of odd.    I have never really ever  had this issue before--but do remember it happening once in a while back when I drank pop.

Its probably nothing to worry about--but its just kind of weird and annoying I guess.
Does anyone else have this happen?

If it is more like bubbles coming up your throat rather than a full out belch, my doctor called them reverse burps. I have personally had them since I was a baby, I have never burped. I know sounds funny, but I cannot burp reguarly so I have these gurgle sounds that come up my throat. Something to do with how a person has to burp, I am missing something. I don't knwo what to tell you about getting them now, but that is what mine are. I don't think they are anything serious, just air escaping from your new pouch. This is better than getting trapped and having discomfort personally. You can try breathing in when they start, I mean big breath in, made mine stop. IF you are worried, please call your doctor cause  none of us on here are doctors, this is just my experience.

It happens to me all the time. Kinda a stuck burp. Check with your doc. if you are feeling uncomfortable with it!

I've had this.  For me it usually happens when I eat too fast or swallow air...like if I chew gum.  Or if I have food stuck it feels like this.  If its not hurting, not to worry - but check with the doctor.  A good pound between the shoulder blades dislodges it for me, when it does hurt.

Hi HON!! If it is just annoying, hmmm, could be your sign that you are full....all of us have a "sign" of being full.  If it is painful DEFINATELY check with your doc!  When this happens is it after eating? drinking?

It happens all all different times of the day. I am going to keep track of it closer today..maybe it's after I drink my water.

I am sure its nothing, but its just ANNOYING!

I had this happen before I got my ability to burp back.  That took about 8 months after my surgery.  It was like the air got trapped, didn't want to go down, but my body wouldn't allow it move up.  Eventually it would resolve, maybe by gurgling up, or by finally following food or beverage down.
