I believe I remember someone *cough*jen*cough* teasing me with promises of some fabulous wide-calf boots that don't fit them anymore...

Or at least an idea of where to pick some up!! lol

I have a pair of Converse All-Stars (yeah, the hightops. they're black with white stars) that I bought right after surgery (days after.) that just did NOT work, and now they are really comfortable, not only on my ankles but feet too. LOVE being able to dress my age for once.

I lost a total of 105lbs and went from a 10W to an 8.5 regular. It's wonderful!

Yep! I was a 9W and am now just a regular 8 (depends on shoe style but at least I am not a wide anymore!!!).

DO NOT go out and buy good shoes now lol ok, unless you are on your feet constantly!

Yes your size will change!! I went for 8.5-9WWW to a 7W or 7.5 regular... and have two great pairs of shoes waiting on my daughter to pick up... *sigh* lol
