Halloween Choice

Happy Halloween,
    I just wanted to share a choice I made for Halloween, it's been 4 months since surgery. We only get about 10 kiddos to our house so instead of buying a bag of candy which there WILL be extra sitting around my house and tempting me, I'm going to my parents house that has a TON of kids and if there is extra candy it stays at their house!

We don't have many trick or treaters either so instead of candy I bought the little cans of fun size playdough!   I brought a bunch to work too and all my co-workers loved it. 

That's a great idea, I was also thinking of getting the Wendy's or McD's ice cream coupons then they aren't real food ya know?

We no longer get treaters out in the boonies, but when we lived in town and had gazillions of them, I actually passed out the mini bags of microwave popcorn, boxes of raisins, and pencils. The older ones grumbled, but the moms thanked me. There are so many options now instead of the 'ol candy, that it's really quite nice.

I've got an OBSCENE amount of fun-size candy bars in a huge basket - 'cuz we get LOTS o' goblins!  Given the weather, I'm guessing it'll be a bumper year!  I've been good so far - if I can keep my mitts out of the basket 'cept maybe TWO pieces, I'll just start throwing 2 or 3 in each bag as the night wears on!  Whatever is left, Rich and Trav will polish off - NOT A PROBLEM!
