Thank you, Darlin'!

I guess I don't look too bad at 51 for 'someone over the hill and ready for the Great Beyond'--according to my kids.  And I think--Holy Cow--51!  That sounds soooo old....but in a few years that will sound pretty young!!

I thank you sincerely for your kind words!
And I will have to trust Good Will--or up here it will be the 'Saint Vincent de Paul Mission'--to give my beloved jacket a good home with a deserving person.

AWESOME....... You can do this!  Just think of the fun you will have trying on smaller sizes and finding the "new" jacket and all the good memories to make with it!

I can SO relate-I bought my very first leather jacket about 6 months after surgery....and I shrunk right out of it by the following season.  I LOVED that jacket!!

a little good trauma is not a terrible thing-maybe the Goodwill will have a fantastic jacket in your size!!!

So you know what I mean!
I think maybe tomorrow will be a good day to coat-hunt.

I hope to meet you, Lynn, in the not-to-distant future.
So how about a picture of YOU in your avatar?

I'd NEVER had a leather coat, until about 4 years ago when a friend handed her 2x down to me after SHE lost weight.  It didn't fit.  Last year, another friend gave me a 2nd 2x leather coat, and I fell in LOVE with them both last year, as I was finally able to wear 'em!

I had to take them to Swapkins last month, tho... too big.  I SOOOO want to go buy a "new" one (Wilson's outlet in Albertville, perhaps?), but couldn't POSSIBLY beat the price on the first 2!!  I should make occasional stops at Good Will to see if I find something too good to pass up...  Until then, I guess I'm relying on the staff coat I bought last year in a LARGE - only THAT one is pretty darn baggy on me now, too!

 a LARGE too BIG???)

Good morning, Sweetheart!

Ain't it just the greatest thing to SHRINK OUT of something instead of GROW OUT? And YAY for you that a 'large' is too large for you!!

We have a Daniar's Leathers here in Thunder Bay, but I really doubt I could afford anything from there.
maybe I'll just go and try on some stuff for fun.   So it's to Value Village I go.  Or to St. Vincent de Paul Mission (a Catholic charity) which my FIL manages (at age 87!!)
(I got a working microwave from there for $5!  If it has a short life, I still got my $ out of it!)

Have a great week!
