OT-Interview update!
Thanks everyone for your prayers!! They worked!!
They called me up yesterday, asking me if I was still interested and of course I said yes!! It was a preliminary offer, pending I pass the drug screen and criminal background check (which I will). Today I did the drug screen. So tomorrow they will make an official offer!!
I am very excited! I will be working in an outpatient cancer clinic, which I had been wanting to do. The hours would be full time, M-F, 8-5. I will have to be on call one weekend very 6-10 weekends. NO NIGHTS!! I will be hired as a float RN, so I will be working in all the areas of the center, whereever they need me (like infusion, education, triage). I am excited about this, so i can see how each area functions. In the future, if I find one area i really enjoy, than maybe I can transfer into that specific area!! WOOHOO!!!!
I could not have done this when I was 100 pound heavier!! I would not have had the energy or strength to keep up. I am soo thankful for WLS and for changing my life!!!
