Weird feeling

The last week I had this weird burning or irritated feeling right around my belly button area and though maybe it was just irritated by a waistband rubbing on it but I looked at it this morning and can't see any irritation, it looks normal.  The more I was thinking about it I think it might be something internal like it only burns (not necessarily hurts) when I'm laying down or when I stretch in a certain way.  Anyone exerience something like this?

Just a guess here, but perhaps you have an umbilical hernia?  They are most common following a pregnancy, but us obese women (er.... FORMERLY obese women!) can be prone to them just because of the belly fat we sported.  And since you've lost so much weight, your waistband COULD be irritating it internally? You wouldn't see any irritation or rash, but it could be getting "rubbed the wrong way" by clothing that used to be kept at bay with the layer of fat.  If you lay back and kind of feel around that area, do you feel any kind of knob or discomfort from the pressure?

Obviously, a trip to your doc would be in order, but this was what popped into my cranium...
